FEATURE | BENEFIT / DESCRIPTION |
True Book-Matched Effect | Mirrored stone-inspired veining creates a balanced, symmetrical composition that reads like a premium book-matched stone slab across the feature wall. |
Coordinated A / B / C / D Sheets | Matched panels are supplied in a planned sequence, helping installers maintain the intended vein direction, symmetry and continuity across larger wall areas. |
Continuous Flowing Veining | The panel artwork is designed so major vein lines visually connect across adjoining sheets, creating a more architectural and intentional wall composition. |
Large-Format Coverage | Each 2800 × 1200 mm panel covers 3.36 m², helping reduce the number of pieces required across broad interior walls. |
Premium Stone-Inspired Appearance | Rich colour depth, dramatic veining and a refined decorative finish deliver the visual impact associated with luxury marble and stone feature walls. |
Multilayer Surface Structure | A durable composite substrate is combined with anti-scratch, decorative and moisture-protective surface layers to balance appearance and everyday practicality. |
Scratch & Wear Resistance | The protective surface layer helps resist everyday scuffs and scratching, supporting use in residential and commercial interiors. |
Moisture-Resistant Surface | The moisture-protective layer helps reduce moisture penetration and supports reliable performance in appropriate interior applications. |
Fast, Cleaner Installation | Large panels and a simplified wall-lining system can reduce the demolition, wet-trade work, dust and site disruption associated with traditional stone installation. |
Lighter Alternative to Natural Stone | The polymer-composite construction delivers a strong stone-inspired visual effect without the handling weight and fabrication demands of thick natural stone slabs. |
Easy to Clean & Low Maintenance | The finished surface is straightforward to wipe and maintain, making it practical for homes, hospitality venues, offices and high-use commercial spaces. |
Eco-Conscious Interior Material | The panel system is designed with recyclable materials and SE0 environmental performance for cleaner interior applications. |
Group 3 Fire Performance | Group 3 fire safety performance and an oxygen index of up to 40 are stated for the applicable PDS wall panel range. Refer to the current test documentation for project-specific requirements. |
Residential & Commercial Versatility | Suitable for feature walls in homes, apartments, hotels, bars, clubs, offices, reception areas, retail spaces, showrooms and other interior projects. |
High-Impact Statement Walls | The mirrored pattern is especially effective on TV walls, sofa walls, hotel lobbies, entry spaces, reception walls and other large surfaces designed to become a visual focal point. |
STEP | ACTION | KEY INSTRUCTIONS |
BEFORE YOU START | ||
PREP | Confirm the Matched Set | Check the panel code, colour and A / B / C / D sequence before installation. Keep the matched sheets together and clearly identify their intended left-to-right orientation. |
PREP | Check the Substrate | Ensure the wall is structurally sound, clean, dry, stable and reasonably flat. Remove loose material, dust, grease and contaminants that may affect the fixing system. |
PREP | Plan the Feature Wall | Identify the main viewing point, centreline, panel sequence, joint positions, trims, corners, power outlets and other penetrations before any cutting begins. |
INSTALLATION STEPS | ||
01 | Measure & Set Out | Measure the wall carefully and mark the intended panel layout. Establish the centreline or other project datum so the mirrored pattern is positioned deliberately within the wall. |
02 | Dry-Lay the A / B / C / D Sequence | Lay the matched panels out in their intended order before cutting or fixing. Confirm the vein direction, mirror relationship and overall visual balance from the normal viewing distance. |
03 | Approve the Pattern Before Cutting | Once the dry layout is correct, photograph or mark the sequence and orientation. Avoid swapping, rotating or reversing panels after approval unless the complete pattern is reviewed again. |
04 | Prepare the Surface | Repair significant unevenness and ensure the substrate is clean, dry, stable and suitable for the selected fixing method. Existing wall finishes may remain where they are sound and compatible with installation. |
05 | Measure & Cut Carefully | Mark all cuts for wall edges, outlets, switches, doors, corners and other details while preserving the intended book-matched sequence. Recheck orientation before each cut. |
06 | Apply the Specified Fixing Method | Apply the suitable construction adhesive or fixing system specified for the substrate and project. Follow the current PDS installation guidance and the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. |
07 | Install in the Planned Sequence | Position the first reference panel accurately, check it is straight and plumb, then continue with the matching panels in the approved A / B / C / D sequence. |
08 | Align the Book-Matched Veins | Before the adhesive sets, step back and confirm the main vein lines align correctly across each joint. Make small positional adjustments where required to preserve the mirrored visual effect. |
09 | Finish Joints, Corners & Edges | Complete panel joints, internal corners, external corners and exposed edges using the appropriate PDS trims or project-specific finishing details. |
10 | Final Inspection & Cleaning | Check the complete pattern, panel alignment, joints and surface condition. Remove installation residue promptly, clean gently and allow adhesives or sealants to cure fully before normal use. |
Simple cleaning and maintenance guidance for long-term presentation.
CARE TOPIC | GUIDANCE |
Prompt Cleaning | Wipe dust, spills and marks promptly with a clean, soft cloth. Regular light cleaning helps preserve the appearance of the decorative surface. |
Mild Soap First | For fresh marks, start with a clean cloth dampened with a mild dish-soap solution or neutral cleaner. Wipe gently rather than scrubbing aggressively. |
Use a Suitable Cleaner Carefully | For more persistent marks, use only a cleaner suitable for the panel finish and follow current PDS care guidance. Test first in an inconspicuous area where necessary. |
Use Soft Materials | Use soft white cotton cloths, non-abrasive sponges or soft brushes. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads and aggressive tools that may damage the decorative finish. |
Avoid Harsh Abrasion | Do not over-clean, sand, scour or use harsh abrasive products, as repeated aggressive cleaning may dull or damage the surface finish. |
Retain Panel Identification | For book-matched installations, keep records of the colour code and A / B / C / D sequence where possible. This helps with future project reference or replacement planning. |
Review Physical Samples | Minor production-batch colour or pattern variation can occur. Review physical samples and matched panel sets before installation where exact visual coordination is critical. |
