Flexible Stone is an eco-friendly decorative building material made from natural colored sand, modified clay and water-based polymers through low-temperature processing. Light and bendable, it features stone, leather and wood textures. Safe and low-carbon, it fits high-rise walls, renovations and special-shaped buildings, perfectly replacing traditional tiles.
Care and Maintenance
Line positioning:
Draw horizontal and vertical lines on the wall to determine the installation position of the wallboard.
Wall surface treatment:
Clean the wall surface to ensure that it is flat, clean, oil-free and dust-free.
Back slurry scraping:
Evenly apply adhesive on the back of the wallboard to ensure that the slurry rate reaches more than 90%.
Adjust the gap width:
Adjust the gap width between the wallboards according to the design requirements and compact it with a large rubber plate.
Joint treatment:
Use plastic wedges or caulking glue to fill the gap, or use silicone glue to fill the gap.
Joint pulling treatment:
When the caulking agent is half dry, use a hacksaw blade to pull the gap to ensure that the gap is deep, saturated and smooth.
Cleaning treatment:
Use a knife to scrape the areas contaminated by adhesive and grout.
Use a dry sponge to remove excess adhesive and dust.
Precautions:
Use anti-alkali adhesive to paste.
Use matching caulking agent to point the joints.
If the adhesive is contaminated during the process, do not wipe it wet, and use a trowel or dry sponge to remove it when it dries.
